On a recent walk, my mom and I came across this Barn Swallow perched on the electric wires:

And here it is with the half moon in the distance:

The moles and voles and similar creatures are now digging all over the place creating these burrows:

The goldfinches have their vibrant color back!

I took a short solo trip down to Belize to check out some Mayan ruins in the jungle back in Spring 2015. On a boat ride to Lamanai, this friendly Spider Monkey came to say ‘hello’:

And I also saw more Mayan ruins at Altun Ha, which turned out to be like a private tour since no other tourists were there that day!

There are so many amazing trees! Oh the stories they could tell… This giant tree is the oldest tree that still lives downtown:
